Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT ARE THE ELIGIBLE AGES FOR CAMPERS?

The age requirement is 13-17 year old boys.

IS THIS AN OVERNIGHT CAMP?

Yes, the camps run from 2 PM on Sunday through 2 PM on Saturday.

WHAT IS THE RATIO OF STAFF TO STUDENTS?

There will be 1 instructor to each 4 campers

WHAT EQUIPMENT WILL MY SON NEED TO BRING?

There is no requirement for special camp equipment, most equipment is provided by the camp.

IS MY SON TOUGH ENOUGH FOR THIS CAMP?

This camp is aimed at increasing self-confidence, maturity, initiative, and teamwork. This is not a “Boot Camp”, campers will be encouraged to do their best. A positive attitude makes it easier but, any average teenage boy will enjoy and benefit from the program.

WHAT IS THE COST OF THE CAMP?

The camp tuition is $1,000 (Virginia or West Virginia) & $1,250 (Colorado), however, some scholarship funds are available for individuals who desire to attend the camp but need assistance in obtaining the full amount. The scholarships are based on need. If someone really wants to attend Camp Trident we will work with them to try to find a way for them to attend.

To secure a spot in the camp, you must pay a $250 registration fee (refundable up to 30 days prior to camp start date) to be applied to the full camp registration price.

HOW DO I PAY THE REMAINING BALANCE FOR CAMP TUITION?

Once you have registered and made your initial $250 deposit, you may pay the remaining balance here. You will need to enter in the name of the camper and the amount you would like to pay.
